I went shopping on Amazon.com last week for a few household items to help complete a home project. I ended up buying a toner cartridge for my home printer while I was there. During checkout I was given the option to wait until all items were available to ship products together or to ship them faster in smaller units.
What a great way to put the decision about group together in the hands of the customer. It’s also a great way to charge a premium for the “now” society that we live in. The end message indicated I would receive two separate shipments, but the items actually shipped In a single box.
